About the Role

As the Programme Engineering Manager for one of the associated programs, you’ll be the crucial connection between the Sizewell C Technical Directorate and our delivery programmes. You’ll be embedded within your programme, ensuring the seamless integration of technical expertise to meet objectives and priorities.

In this role you will:

Lead and co‑ordinate a high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary engineering team drawn from the Technical Directorate, Delivery Programmes and Nuclear Services. As a PEM you'll have responsibility for managing direct reports, with a growing team engineers within the Technical Directorate.

Fleet Collaboration Project Manager (London, GB, EC2R 7BP)

Sizewell C’s business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk. Overall, whilst the Company is in the construction phase, the Boards’ principal focus is on the development and construction of Sizewell C on time, on budget and to the highest quality and safety standards. The Company is maturing to meet all these requirements.

Sizewell C is economically regulated by OFGEM under the RAB model similar to other UK electricity distribution networks and Thames Tideway.

Sizewell C construction strategy is to replicate the design of Hinkley Point C, using the majority of the same supply chain, but innovating in the way it is delivered to achieve savings in time and cost of around 20%. The CCO will need to be guided by and incorporate lessons learned from the Hinkley Point C commercial delivery to achieve Sizewell C’s ambition.

Following Financial Completion and Revenue Commencement, Sizewell C is fully funded and is owned by; The Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero representing HM Government, La Caisse, Centrica, EDF and Amber Infrastructure.

The MEH Alliance is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Contract Manager to support the administration and management of NEC contracts across the Sizewell C programme.

Working within a highly regulated major project environment, you will play a key role in contract governance, compensation event management, commercial performance, cost control and supplier management. You will work closely with commercial, project controls, supply chain and delivery teams to ensure contracts are effectively managed and programme objectives are achieved.

Role Responsibilities

Contract Management & Administration

Administer NEC contracts throughout the contract lifecycle, from award through to completion and close-out.
Ensure contractual processes, governance requirements and documentation are managed accurately and compliantly.
Maintain robust contract records, correspondence and commercial reporting.

Compensation Event Management

Manage compensation events in accordance with NEC contractual requirements.
Review, assess and negotiate supplier quotations.

Impact:

As Risk Engineer, you will work as part of the SZC Project Controls team and will serve as a centre of excellence, managing and strategically using delivery performance management information. Our team will enable successful delivery of SZC Project through proactive Project Controls that drives forward-looking solutions to continuously improve performance. As a Risk Manager, you will be working within the Project Management Office (PMO) and will support/ be deployed with one of SZC’s delivery programmes.

The post holder will support the operation of all PMO risk processes across SZC, reporting to a Senior Risk Manager. This will entail supporting the ownership, deployment, and continuous improvement of all the PMO risk process elements of one of SZC’s delivery programmes whilst helping to ensure we operate and deliver controls within the SZC governance structure, organisation and delivery model. Role Overview

You'll oversee and implement Configuration Management activities within the Nuclear Island delivery programme, improving standards and tools. Plan and maintain configuration baselines, identify and document Configuration Items, and manage changes effectively. Produce clear status reports and support change control to ensure accurate tracking and closure. Deliver training, conduct audits, and assist with reviews to validate compliance. Finally, you'll contribute to Engineering Data and Information Management, aligning tools and processes with project needs.

Location: This is a permanent Suffolk-based role, requiring an initial three-year development programme at Hinkley Point C in Somerset. This role is site-based.

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time, site based. Some flexibility may be offered where necessary.
Salary: £56,506 - £86,985 depending on experience

Impact

As Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering new business capabilities through the successful planning, execution, and oversight of Digital & IT projects within Sizewell C (SZC).

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager in the SZC Digital Delivery function, this role will oversee multiple IT and business change projects—ensuring delivery to agreed time, cost, and quality baselines. The post holder will work closely with stakeholders across SZC, EDF, Tier 1 suppliers, and delivery partners to deliver critical infrastructure, applications, and change initiatives that enable SZC’s strategic objectives.

The SZC Digital directorate sits within the PMO Unit which in turn sits within the overall delivery department. Digital is accountable for providing Enterprise IT infrastructure and application to the business and to a subset of Tier 1 contract partners.

The Digital Delivery function is one of four functions under the SZC Digital directorate and delivers the digital programmes and projects for the SZC Nuclear New Build programme.

Framework & Boundaries

As Project Manager you will be given delegated authority by the Senior Project Manager to manage projects within agreed budget, time, and scope tolerances.

They will ensure delivery follows SZC’s project governance, standards and relevant nuclear industry regulations. The role requires balancing adherence to these frameworks with pragmatic decision-making to ensure delivery success in a fast-paced and complex environment.

The role holder will also have to engage actively with SZC Internal Departments to ensure compliance and understanding of business need and requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

As we embark on this significant infrastructure project, which is still in its early stages of development, we are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Senior Planner to join our team. This is a pivotal role that offers the opportunity to shape the project's future, developing the detail of the MEHA scope.

• Reporting to the Head of Scheduling & Planning, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the electrical programme across both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Alliance delivery strategy. During Phase 1, the focus will be on supporting subcontract delivery, integrating supplier and subcontract schedules, and developing the programme maturity needed to establish a robust project controls baseline. During Phase 2, you will work closely with Project Managers and Construction Leads to develop detailed installation schedules and ensure readiness for successful project execution.

Drive the development of schedule information with the adequate level of detail for the phase of the works with rolling wave planning methodology approach. Carry out schedule checks on a periodic basis to ensure the health and robustness of the schedule is maintained.

Wider Understanding of Project Controls:

Understand the risk associated to the scope and how these would map to deliverables; communicate risks to the planning manager to ensure this is captured in the risk documentation. Understand the budget and cost profiles within year, within the current contract.

Reporting:

Produce and feed in to reporting frameworks and generate regular progress reports for stakeholders, detailing key metrics such as in period movement, year to date and potential upcoming risks to schedule. Utilize earned value management (EVM) from the outset to build a strong performance assessment baseline.

Cost and Resource:

Resource load the schedule and produce histograms and resource profiles to support the delivery management. Confident in carrying out resource loading / levelling and reports to communicate profiles to the team.

Quality Control:

Collaborate with quality teams to define early-stage quality standards and control measures, ensuring that as the project progresses, it adheres to the highest standards.

Data Analysis and Forecasting:

Review supplier schedules and feed into the MEHA detail at an appropriate level where required and communicate honestly the impact / forecasting to support mitigation plans and honest, open culture on reporting progress.

Establish clear and effective communication channels with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, supporting visibility into project performance and alignment with project goals.

What You'll Be Doing

As Education Lead, you will:

Lead the delivery of Sizewell C's education programmes, including PowerUp! and Young SZC initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, universities, education providers, contractors and supply chain partners.
Coordinate education and outreach activities that raise awareness of future careers, apprenticeships and employment opportunities connected to Sizewell C.
Act as the key point of contact for education-related activities across the project and within the supply chain.
Support the development of talent pipelines that feed into future apprenticeships, graduate programmes and employment opportunities.
Work with internal teams and external partners to develop engaging content, events and initiatives for young people and educators.

What You'll Need

We're looking for someone with experience in education, skills development, stakeholder engagement or early careers programmes who can build trusted relationships and translate strategy into meaningful outcomes.

You'll ideally have:

A strong understanding of the pre-16 and post-16 education and skills landscape.
Experience developing or delivering education, employability, outreach or social value programmes.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of audiences.
Experience building partnerships across education providers, employers and external organisations.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
The ability to coordinate multiple projects, manage competing priorities and deliver against deadlines.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively within a wider team.

About the Role

Reporting To: Commercial Lead – Civil Works, As Senior Commercial Manager you will support the effective implementation of the Programme Alliance Agreement (PAA) - a multi billion pound, multi‑party alliancing contract - across Sizewell C (SZC) processes, systems and teams.

The role will focus on assisting in the identification and resolution of interface gaps between PAA contractual requirements and SZC functional processes, providing expert advice to Commercial teams and functions, developing contract management guidance, and training, and supporting the use and development of the Unifier contract administration tool.

This role suits a big‑picture thinker—someone who can evaluate options, risks and consequences to shape effective solutions. Working proactively with functions such as design, project controls (cost, programme, risk), delivery, legal, land, consents, environment and sustainability, site operations, health and safety, quality and document control, the Senior Commercial Manager brings clarity, alignment and confident decision‑making to high‑pressure, fast‑moving environments. The role ensures robust governance, identifies gaps in contracts, policies and procedures, and strengthens commercial controls across the programme.

Key Responsibilities

The scope of this role evolves and is guided by the challenges faced by SZC and their contractor teams. Current key responsibilities include assisting the Commercial Lead in the following areas:

PAA Contract Management:

Acting as a subject matter expert on the PAA.
Identifying and resolving gaps between contractual requirements and SZC processes.
Providing practical commercial advice to contractor teams and functions.
Supporting consistent contract administration and governance across the programme.
Promoting dispute avoidance through proactive issue resolution.

Training, Guidance and Capability

Developing training materials, guidance and templates for the use of the PAA.
Producing and supporting roll-out of the Contract Management Manual.
Delivering training and coaching to commercial and functional teams.
Embedding consistent contract management standards across the SZC Civils programme.

Systems and Process Improvement

Supporting the development of the Unifier contract administration platform .
Ensuring commercial processes, controls and workflows are embedded effectively.
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency and data quality.

Post-Award Contract Management

Driving supplier performance and commercial governance.
Mitigating risks and resolve commercial issues.
Supporting proactive dispute avoidance.
Providing strategic oversight across the relevant portfolio.

What the candidate will bring

Senior-level experience in commercial or supply chain roles on major infrastructure, energy, nuclear or complex regulated projects.
Strong procurement and post-contract management experience.
Good understanding of dispute avoidance and issue resolution.
Strong knowledge of Alliance, NEC and/or FIDIC contracts.
Experience with alliance or target cost contracts would be advantageous.
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to translate complex contractual requirements into practical guidance and processes.

Education and Professional qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, law, construction or project management or equivalent.
Professional qualifications such as MCIPS, MRICS, MCIArb, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent are preferred.
