As Assistant Project Manager you'll be expected to work pragmatically to make risk-based assessment on when to adhere completely to standards, procedures, and delivery methods and when to proposed controlled deviations to maximise the chance of a successful outcome for SZC. • Support with the assurance and oversight of the effective management for project workstreams to agreed quality criteria throughout the project lifecycle including detailed design, build, test, technical cutover, training, communications, business readiness, deployment, post go-live support and project closure.
  • Support the management of project progress, scope, budget, risks, issues, resources, dependencies, stakeholders, vendors, and requirements throughout the project lifecycle, escalating to the Project Manager or Project Sponsor, as appropriate.
  • Support with the assurance of delivery Partners complying with agreed standards, procedures and delivery methods and ensuring commitments are identified, agreed, and delivered without impacting the project quality criteria.
  • Support with the assurance of the provision of accurate and timely reporting to the Project Board, PMO and SZC senior management as required.
  • Support with the assurance of the development and execution of a stakeholder engagement plan to manage relationships, ensuring buy-in, timely involvement and commitment of key stakeholders.
  • Interface with other members of the Portfolio delivery team to continuously identify and share the use of best practice.
